Alumni Weekend Events in Camden

The weekend will begin with a 50th anniversary celebration of the Class of 1968 at the Golden Raptor Dinner on Friday, April 27. All members of prior graduation years are also invited to the dinner to commemorate this milestone and welcome the Class of 1968 to the Golden Raptor Society. 

On Saturday, April 28, all alumni and their families and friends are invited to come back to campus for several special reunions and Rutgers Day activities. There will be individaul special events for alumni from The Gleaner and Mneme, Athletics, and the Honors College, as well as a Silver Raptor celebration.

Roger S. Clark Rutgers Law APIL 5K Run for Justice

The Gleaner + Mneme Reunion Breakfast

Rutgers–Camden’s newspaper, The Gleaner, and yearbook, Mneme, hold the history of our campus. We are celebrating those who preserved our past by holding a Reunion Breakfast for alumni and current students involved in producing these periodicals. Archived editions of the newspaper and yearbook will be available for reminiscing. Register here for this free event!

Silver Raptor Brunch

Rutgers–Camden retirees, the Silver Raptors, are hosting a Brunch as part of Alumni Weekend. Retirees are welcome to bring their families. The cost is $20 for adults and $10 for children (ages 5-12). Athletics Networking Reception

We are celebrating our alumni and student athletes at an Athletics Networking Reception at noon in the Athletics and Fitness Center Lobby. Get a bite to eat, reconnect with your former teammates and coaches, and meet current athletes at this free event. Bring your family and Future Raptors! Rutgers Day

Alumni Weekend coincides with Rutgers Day, which features free, family-friendly activities, displays, entertainment, and more presented by faculty, staff, and students. We expect 2,000 people and over 60 programs to discover. Check out the Rutgers Day website and download the app. Don’t forget to come by Scarlet Headquarters for giveaways, class buttons, the kid zone, and an activity we are fondly calling “Scarlet Letters.” There’s no registration necessary. Be a part of the excitement!

Honors College 20th Birthday Bash
6:00 to 9:00 p.m. | The Big Event, Cherry Hill
The Honors College turns 20 this year and the Honors College Alumni Association is throwing a birthday party! Reunite with your Honors College family! The $15 general admission and $10 student admission includes food and unlimited games.
